TITLE: "Little Pink Houses"
This charming pink house is one of the icons of the Grand Tetons National park, and has a beautiful history of a loving couple who lived there together for many years. Built in 1907 as a log cabin, John Moulton built this home for his wife Bartha. John wanted to cheer his wife up after a stay in the hospital, so he had their log home covered in this bright salmon pink stucco. Bartha did not, in fact, care for the color, but she opted to leave it and enjoy the cheery color anyway. After Bartha passed away, her husband John lived in the adorable pink house until his death at the age of 103. This charming house reflects the warm and happy love of the couple who lived there. John sold the home to the National Park, where it remains to this day, next to the beautiful old barn they built.
