TITLE: "Standing Tall"
The rustic metal siding of this old grain elevator is a beautiful color companion to the blue skies overhead. These old structures are often the tallest buildings for miles, rising high above the small towns they were built in. Grain Elevators are almost always found near railroad tracks, as they were storage for grain collected from local fields. Trains would arrive to the small towns and stop at each grain elevator along the way, gathering the stored grain, when it would then be transported to larger manufacturing facilities to make bread and other consumer goods. Crafted to stand the test of time, these buildings have remained strong for over one hundred years.
