Lake McDonald is one of the most iconic views in Glacier National Park, overlooking the rugged snowcapped mountains in the distance. This image was captured through the boughs of the Larch trees that grow along the shore, making for a beautiful image that captures the context of standing at the Lake's edge.

About the Photographer:

Annie travels for her photography full-time, photographing wildlife, landscapes, and rural scenes. She grew up on her family's ranch in Montana, and currently works out of her studio in Billings, Montana. Her work has been featured in television shows, books, and in magazines such as Better Homes & Gardens. She has worked with Crate & Barrel, Target, and several large-scale projects across the United States. While she loves to travel, her true love is being in wide open spaces or out in nature.
